Repiping is the process of replacing all the hot and cold waterlines in your home. In Southwest Florida, including the newer communities of Cape Coral and Lehigh Acres, most homes are built on a slab with all piping being under the slab and coming up into the walls at the fixtures. For this type of house, it is not possible to remove the existing piping or to run new piping under your slab without major damage to the home.

Therefore, we install the new piping in your attic and down the interior of the walls to supply your fixtures. If there is not an attic accessible, we can still repipe your home by digging around the house and coming in through the exterior walls.

Repiping projects should not wait until you start noticing leaks. Watch for signs associated with degenerating pipes, such as flakes of dark material in your water, odd-tasting tap water, or decreasing water pressure. A good way to determine if your pipes need repair or replacement is the “Flow Test”. Turn on multiple faucets in your home and check for a significant drop in water pressure. Make sure to check showers, sinks, and outside faucets at the same time to check your water pressure.

Repiping Site Inspection & Estimate

A professional site inspection is critical to a successful construction process. Standard repiping projects include installation of all new hot and cold domestic water piping from the origination point to all existing faucets. Unless specifically included in the proposal, drain replacement and fixtures are not included.
